I happen to hold a food-related job now (work in the kitchens at Notre Dame...catering and feeding hungry students). Plus, many more over the years!!

Sounds like a great job! Notre Dame!
ReplyDeleteI don't need to be entered in a drawing but I did once, as a college student, work in a the cafeteria both as a dishwasher and on the serving line.
ReplyDeleteI was just telling a gal friend of mine how I miss the restaurant business. Sometimes. I was even going to open up my own espresso bar in Wyoming (called appropriately Buzz By Annies). Eventually it was going to be a wine and espresso bar. Clever. I know.
ReplyDeleteLet's see...I've bussed, cooked, baked, waitressed, cocktailed, bar tended...Yep. That about covers it.
I've been a gourmet sandwich shop manager and a grill cook. It's long hours and low pay but I loved it! And I'm a follower!
ReplyDeleteI have been a waitress at 3 different restaurants. My favorite was the mexican place!! I am already a follower!

I started cooking at Mcdonald's when I was 16, then worked in a resort resturant until 18, then worked in a bar/nightclub, then cooked in Army kitchens, then did some catering stuff. Yeah I think that's it lol!
